laptop issues - 09:54 AM

i've been having some issues with my laptop, recently. something to do with the battery, or with how the battery talks to the laptop .. or something.
it's still under warranty, so i'm taking it in today to be looked at. i have no idea how long it'll take for them to fix it or replace it or whatever they're going to do with it. i guess i'd better do a back up before i take it in, just in case they have to blow the whole thing away. at least i have an external drive that has all my files on it.
so if i don't blog for a few days (as if i have been blogging much lately, anyway. hehe) then you know why.
i still have email access on my palm pda, but the browser on it isn't so great for some sites, so those things just have to fall by the wayside until i have proper computer access again.
i still have my desktop, which had become smiley's computer, but it's not been functional for a while. i should really have a look at it. maybe now that i'm taking the laptop in to be looked at, i'll take the chance to see if i can fix the desktop.
puters and trons.....can't live with them nor without them. good luck with them all.
