sick but appetite back - 01:34 PM

smiley has a cold. he had a sleep over at nanna & poppy's house on wednesday night & when i picked him up thursday morning, rudi told me he hadn't eaten anything since i dropped him off. he was a bit quieter than usual & he sounded a bit nasally, too. it's not too bad of a cold, though. he mainly has the sniffles & a mild fever.
he hardly ate anything at all yesterday, but today he seems to have his appetite back. he just asked for 'shell basghetties (spaghetties: pasta) on toast with vegemite'.
mmmm. i can see that taste sensation about to sweep the nation. *shudder*

my laptop is back. i got it yesterday. being an intermittent problem, of course they couldn't reproduce it, but it got some upgrade or something or other, so at least it wasn't a complete waste of time.
i did, however, have to call support to get my wireless working again. the upgrade must have blown away the original wireless drivers or something. it was an easy fix, but annoying, none-the-less.
at least i have it back. i'll have to look into an extended warranty period since the warranty expires in a couple of months or so.
