we seem to have come through, successfully, to the other side of smiley's hormonal surge. & i even managed to not kill him, or me. lol!! 
he's finally calmed down somewhat in the last couple of weeks. it's such a relief, i tell you. it was seriously difficult to deal with him during that time. i'd go as far to say that it's been the most challenging thing, so far, to deal with since he was born. even the lack of sleep when he was a newborn was easier to deal with than the attitude he had for those two months.
i know i'll be up for more of it when he's a teenager, but i'm very thankful that this particular session of hormonally-driven madness is over.
