i'm off to abu dhabi - 04:14 PM

well, i'm off tomorrow to abu dhabi. in case you missed my mention of it previously, i'm working there with nana may's. they're doing a trade show kind of thing over there for ramadan. it goes off, apparently.
i'm leaving tomorrow. i have almost everything organised. got someone to look after the house & collect mail, almost packed, got smiley organised to stay at rudi & audrey's place (adrian will be there for another half a week or so to spend time with smiley, which is great for both of them), got my family organised to try to give them a break when they can by taking smiley, got my travel documents in order, etc.
mum will be taking me to the airport tomorrow. hopefully bruce will be able to pick me up from the airport on the way back, but it depends on if he has anything to do on that day with the sale of his house. if he can't, then mum is all lined up to do it.
it's going to be fun. i'm working two more hours per day than i thought i would be. it'll be from 8 pm to 3 am. i hope the hotel room has really heavy curtains so i can block out the sunlight when i'm trying to sleep in the day.
from what i understand, i'll be working fifteen days straight, but will be away for about 21 days, so i guess i'll have some time at the beginning & the end to do stuff or to recover from working that many days in a row.
i'm quite excited. it's going to be fun. i'm going to miss smiley like crazy & i'll miss bruce like crazy, too. he's said he's going to miss me & he's been acting that way, too. although i don't like that he has to miss me, it's nice that he's going to. 
i'll be bringing my laptop, so i hope to be able to blog occasionally while i'm away. obviously, i'll have email access, too, so if you comment or email me, then i should be able to respond while i'm away.

all this time with no adult supervision. hmmmm!! wonder what mischief i can get into? enjoy the experience, real girl. cya on the backside.
