just a quick update. i'm in abu dhabi. had one night here. i've still got heaps of sleep to catch up on. i only got about two hours sleep on the plane. i never sleep well on planes. i'm quite jealous of people who can fall asleep anywhere.
tonight will be my first night of work. apparently most of the customers don't (or won't) speak very fluent english, so mostly it's all sign language & just occasional words like 'face', 'hands', &, funnily enough, 'bottom of leg' instead of 'foot'. rotfl!! 
i'll update more when i can.
i have internet access from the hotel whenever i need it, so all is well on that front.
