i've just done some more henna on my hand. well, my arm, actually. when i use my nana may's scrub daily on my hands, the orange, lemon & grapefruit oils in it fade the henna quite quickly, so i thought the best place was up the inside of my arm from the thumb to the elbow.
i did a similar thing last week, but because i'm right-handed, i did the design on my left arm. however, since i wear my watch on my left wrist, the movement of the watch band has faded it in that area quite quickly. there's no one around here (close by) that i know who could do a nice design for me, so i thought i'd try using my left hand to do it on my right arm, i'm pretty pleased with the result. i'd be pleased even if i'd done it right-handed!

it looks quite dark & chunky in this pic. that's because the paste is still on my arm, almost dry & ready to take off later in the day.
these are fab, we went to malta last year and in the evenings on the seafront there were people that did these henna tattoos, i had a rose on my wrist, my hubbie had a superman, curt had a panther and jack had a lion, pretty neat xx
