smiley's been taking more pictures lately with the camera on my old mobile phone. it's now his to take pics with whenever he likes.
he took this one last weekend of two little girls who are regulars at the saturday market at which i sell nana may's. he comes along with me (for at least some of the day), just as these two little girls come along with their parents.
i'd say this is my all-time favourite of his pics. it looks better bigger, so click on the image to see it larger.

bummer. there's an egg lost already.
i found it on the floor of the cage this morning. i've put it back in the nest, but it's already cold & neither hansel or gretel seem interested in it at all.
the annoying thing is that i hadn't yet set up local save (saving a pic to my hard drive each minute, instead of just uploading one image at a time to ferrousland which is replaced each time by the next image) so i don't know what happened. she may have laid it in the nest & knew it wasn't viable or something & threw it out. or maybe she laid it on the floor instead. or maybe she laid it on the perch & it hit the cage floor. i just don't know.
the egg isn't broken, but it is cold, so i can't imagine that anything's going to come of it.
