seven tiny finches - 07:33 AM

last monday, bruce helped me finally put the birds' cage outside by putting in a large hook under a protected area. since they've been out there, they seem to be attracting birds (although it could be just a conincidence & it's the time of year when the birds might come about, anyway.)
just now there were seven tiny little finches out there, eating the seeds from the grass growing through the pavers. i tried to get a picture of them through the glass doors, but they spotted me & flew off. they were such cute little things.
