tax return, finally! - 09:01 AM

my tax return is finally on its way. yay!
i lodged it at the beginning of november last year. in the past, it's taken about two weeks to come through .. a little longer this time at almost three months! i've been calling them at least every two weeks to find out what the hell has been going on with it.
i did ask for it to be put directly into my bank account, but they're sending a cheque, instead. i can deal with that. better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. at least it's finally on its way.
now i can get new tyres for my car. well, once the cheque clears, anyway. one of the tyres has warn down on the sides to the point of showing the thread! really need new tyres.
