this is just a tad annoying. i have to move. i just got the notice that the owner is moving back in at the end of my lease .. which is in fourteen days. damn it.
i know there's got to be something good about this, but right now it's just damn annoying.

Coralie , I dont think that 14 days is legal , I would look into that ! how is anyone meant to get a house in that time frame , let alone come up with the bond etc ??

I agree with Selena. Even here where I live un the states they have to give you 30 days notice. I would check it out

what a PITA!! as if you don't have enough to do. definitely a short time period to find a new place, get organized to move and then ACTUALLY move. plus i suppose they want the place pristine when you leave. 14-days is not fair; however, fighting it might be a waste of valuable time house hunting. guess we won't be seeing you for a while. good luck real girl.

How unfair, oh by the way can you move out of my property in 14 days, shouldn't they by law give you ample notice, to be able to fund the move as well as have the stress of having to move in the first place. Best of luck anyway, Im sure you will get straight onto the case and get a secure home for you and your boy.xx

I doubt 14 days is legal too. Do you not have a lease?

you should definitely investigate more. even if you probably don't want to stay where they don't want you, you might at least be able to get yourself more time in which to move.

wow l4 days isnt much notice - i too would question it even if just to give you time to find somewhere decent to move to - how do they expect you to pack, clean & search for a new place with a child?
good luck
