i've finally finished at the old place. thank god that's over.
it took me about fifteen solid hours (maybe) of cleaning, spread over two days to get everything done that had to be done, including a stupid amount of time getting rid of a plethora of boxes that i'd been hoarding. i'm a box hoarder. i keep the boxes from almost anything i buy (especially electronic goods), just in case.
there was lots of clearing out of old crap throughout the whole time i was packing, too.
so tomorrow i'll start to unpack all my stuff & then maybe i'll have room in the loungeroom to actually move around. once some of the boxes are unpacked, maybe i can start to put together my big wall unit cupboard thingy again.
