smiley somehow pressed a button, or perhaps a sequence of buttons, that turned his screen display sideways! what the hell?
googling it now to find a solution. *sigh*

hmmm... this has actually happened to me 3 times before. or maybe not that. i accidentally dragged the bottom toolbar onto the side. it took many dragging attempts for me to get it back to the bottom again.
