floorcleaner versus vacuuming - 02:32 PM
speaking of the floorcleaner .. i had the vacuum out the other day to do the carpets & i figured since it was out, i may as well do the hard floors with it as well. over the past number of times i'd been using my enjo floorcleaner but i thought to myself, "it can't take that much longer to do it with the vacuum cleaner, surely."
man, was i wrong. it seriously takes roughly two minutes to do the halls, kitchen, dining area, breakfast bar area, laundry, bathroom & toilet floor with the floorcleaner. it took about ten minutes to do it with the vacuum. it's meant to suck it all up, but instead it just pushes it around when the dog hair & stuff gets caught at the sides of the brushes on the vacuum head. i'm never going to use the vacuum to the hard floors again. it's a waste of time.
there are so many things i wish enjo would make, because i know they'd make them so much better than anyone else.

tired - 09:02 PM
enjo training today was good. it was quite fun. every enjo person i've met so far has been quite lovely.
i've been doing some study to prepare for the second day of training tomorrow, but i've not managed to complete everything i've needed to do because i'm too tired. i can barely type straight, in fact.
smiley had a sleep on the way home this afternoon (we got home at about 4:30pm), but he wasn't keen to go to sleep until almost 7:30pm so i couldn't even begin my study until then. let's hope it's not too difficult to pick up on all the extra information tomorrow. i don't like not being prepared.
i can't do anymore. i have to to sleep. i have to be awake early enough tomorrow to get myself & riley ready to take him to his nanna & poppy's place before i continue on to training across the other side of town. sleep. must. sleep.

training starts - 07:39 PM
tomorrow is my first day of enjo training. i'm really looking forward to it .. especially since it was meant to happen a month ago.
i didn't reach my goal of ten demos, i have only nine so far, but let's hope i'll pick up another demo to fit in before the end of february from the ones which i'll be doing this month. it's cutting it a bit close though. i really need to get the tenth one so that my day planner thing will be free. not only that, but i want to reach the goal i set for myself.
so now (if smiley will let me), i'm going to do some more of the reading i have to do to prepare for the first day. wish me luck!

enjo badge - 10:13 PM
i went to the monthly meeting today & the team leader, karen, gave me my enjo name badge. i'm official!
february is shaping up well. i have all eight demos booked in & looking good, but i still have to get two more to reach my goal. i'd like to get the ten for another reason, too. my enjo day-timer diary will be free if i get ten demos, if not then i pay for it. mind you, the cost for it is a lot cheaper than i would pay at the shops, so even if i don't get my ten demos it won't be so bad. i am going to get ten demos though, so that's not something i have to worry about.

eight demos - 09:51 PM
my friends & family are really coming to the party (so to speak) with agreeing to host demonstrations. i'm really thankful that they're so willing to help me start my enjo business. i'm lucky to be surrounded by such nice people.
so now i have eight demos booked for february. yay!

stamping, stamping, stamping - 09:51 PM
i bought a rubber stamp thing today which you make up from little letters & numbers provided to say whatever you want it to say. i got it so that i can stamp my phone contact details onto the various enjo bits & pieces which i send out to people who host a demo.
i love stamping things. what is it about it that's so fun? i really don't know, but i guess it's not an uncommon fixation since they sell little rubber stamps for kids as well as much more expensive ones for adults. i'm not into rubber stamping like that kind of rubber stamping, i just like stamping any old rubber stamp all over any bit of paper. lol!

six demos - 10:46 PM
as you might already know, i'm doing my enjo training at the beginning of february. they suggest that you ahve six to ten demonstrations booked for that month, to help kick-start your business. as of tonight i have six booked! woo hoo!
thank you to my friends who are helping me out by agreeing to host a demo. i really appreciate it.
as for anyone else out there in the brisbane area, if you would like to host a demo (there's a special on in february in which you could earn yourself a floor cleaner & fibre for free .. plug, plug, plug) then i'm your woman. even if you just want to try out some of the enjo stuff, let me know.
now to get even more demos booked to start my business off really successfully. since shroom's job has come to an end, i have a lot of incentive to get it going. who knows .. if i do really well, i can be the breadwinner & shroom can be a stay at home dad.

.. but that glove is definitely going in the wash now. *shudder*

goods despatched - 03:32 PM
hmm. i just got an email from the people who do the couriering (wow, that's really hard to say) for enjo saying that my goods have been despatched. i didn't order anything yet though. could be the bits for my diary which were out of stock when i got it.
anyway, who really cares .. i just love getting packages!

enjo team is nice - 01:32 PM
i'm so pleased to be part of such a nice team of enjo people. i just spoke to one of the team, lou, to ask her a question or two & she was so helpful, not only with the questions i had, but with some other things which will help to make me a really good enjo lady. they're not competitive (in a bad way) at all. everyone is totally available to everyone else to help out. it's really nice.

getting organised - 02:02 PM
one of the ladies in my enjo team dropped around my pack of stuff yesterday to get me started. as well as a training manual & some packs for the lovely people who will be my first six to ten (or more) hosts for demos, it included a day-timer organiser. shroom's mum is the first one to set a date for a demo, so i've just put my first demo into my diary. how exciting! one down, nine to go ..

enjo consultant - 02:00 PM
as soon as i began using the enjo products i was really impressed with them. even after using them for only a short time, i was considering becoming a consultant, partly because they actually work (& better than most chemicals promise to work), but mainly because i want to help promote a better style of living to people, a way that helps them in their own homes but also is good for the environment as a whole, a very selfish reason really, because it means a safer place to live for me & my family, including my child-in-waiting. that's more so who i'm worried about.
so i met with my enjo lady today & asked her a few questions about becoming a consultant. it's not for the faint-hearted it seems. they don't want people to sign up & just sit back, they want you to be very active & turn it into a real business. my main intention is not to make money out of doing this (although that is a nice side-benefit) but, as i said above, to spread the good word about being more environmentally friendly & saving our world before we damage it beyond repair. anyway, they don't just let anyone in like many multi-level marketing companies do, they interview you to make sure you're suitable & then consider you.
i've mentioned mutil-level marketing companies but not because enjo is one. it's not multi-level marketing. you don't make money from any other consultant, you make money only from sales. from what i can tell, it seems the only similarity with multi-level marketing companies is that the products aren't sold through the usual retail outlets but through individual consultants at home & through demonstrations.
so i don't know if i'll be able to keep up with the number of demos they suggest you do per month, what with rudegere being due so soon, but since all my friends i've shown the products to have been as amazed as i was (& still am) at how well they work, it seems i already have a small customer base to start with. that can't be a bad thing.
i really hope they find me suitable, despite being about to pop out a baby in two months or so, because i'm really keen to do it. my enjo lady will pass on my details to her team manager today, so hopefully i'll hear from her soon.

freebies - 07:37 PM
my enjo lady is good to me. the most recent enjo products i've bought are the kitchen maid & a product called marble paste (there's no link for it on their site) which is a more environmentally friendly replacement for jiff or ajax, the pasty white stuff which is a fine abrasive good for cleaning the sink or the stove or other hard &/or shiny surfaces which may require a bit more attention.
i guess that since i've been buying things regularly (i also have the micro star, the kitchen glove, the allpurpose cloth, the bathroom glove & the garage glove) she decided to give me a free enjo spray bottle. in the past she's included some useful little promotional products too, a desk calendar & today, a small notepad. i love free stuff.
