towel monster - 10:00 PM
shroom has a habit of using my towel to wipe his hands &/or face on after washing them instead of using the hand towel which is just above the bathroom sink. it doesn't really bother me in regard to dirt or germs, but more so because when i have a shower & use my towel i find it already has a cold, wet patch on it instead of being all nice & fuzzy & warm.
it would probably also not bother me if i hadn't gone to the trouble of installing a hand towel holder in the wall & thought so much about the exact best placement above the bathroom sink so that it was practical to use after washing ones hands.
i asked him if there was a specific reason he didn't use the hand towel & he didn't have one, so i found a solution which didn't involve nagging. when he saw the sign he laughed a lot. 
i pinned it in the exact spot where he grabs it, just to make sure he wouldn't miss it.
in case you can't read the writing, it says, "the towel monster will get you if you don't use the hand towel instead!"
sheesh! woman! a towel is a towel. at least he didn't use his pants leg like i do. lol
*ahem!* for those who don't quite get it, let me clarify. i really don't care what he uses to dry his hands. he could use his trouser legs as i in fact do at times. he could use the dog for all i care! let me put it this way though:
hands up who enjoys getting out of the shower to find that their towel is wet & soggy?
I think I need one of those notes for the dishtowels.
I understand perfectly Coralie. Now this comment is coming from an old lady - I have my own personal bathroom and my husband has his and we do NOT use one anothers unless we have housequests and REALLY need to. Mine is pink and his is blue, lol!
