chooks a-wandering - 04:45 PM
we let the chooks out of the shed for the first time today. they seemed to enjoy exploring, but didn't go much past the porch, where we were hanging out. they cleaned up heaps of bugs & spiders from the brick, took a drink or two of mgcarnicle's water & eventually lay in the sun in funny positions. they were extremely amusing.

Lol! I love the one where they enter the porch, like a couple of cowboys entering a saloon. They're a purposeful band of chookies
I wish my folks' chooks were that photogenic .. instead they're a couple of too fast roadrunners
