happy birthday, sweet brittany! - 07:35 PM

here are some pictures of britt which monica & greg have taken since she's been sick. i was only going to choose one or two, but there were too many good ones, or ones which showed how things are, that it was difficult to keep it down to only seven pictures. i've given a quick description of each below.

  1. she looks so happy.
  2. monica blowing up some balloons & the big smiley face balloon from our aunty & cousins sent to her ealier in the week. that's kelsey in the background.
  3. she got all shy when the nurses came in with cake & party snacks.
  4. opening a present with daddy looking on.
  5. daddy being funny with the wrapping & britt being quite amused.
  6. earlier in the week, a pic of the machine she's tethered to.
  7. finishing up with a lovely picture of her with a trauma teddy given to her by the australian red cross. you can see the tubes coming from under her shirt which are attached to the machine.

i like the last pic. there seems to be gleem of defiance behind those eyes. guess it runs in the family.

she has grown up so much!! last time i saw her she was probably a year old, if that!

What a precious little doll. Still have her in my thoughts and prayers. With a smile like that, how can she not come out of this. *smile*

wow...beautiful pics! Especially the first one, she looks so much like your mum! I have to admit that looking at these pics got me a bit teary as well. I'm glad u put them all up tho, it's kinda reassuring to actually see her smiling *smile*
