purple chair - 08:05 PM
a few years ago i bought a second-hand rolling office chair for shroom & covered it in some red tartan-like fabric. the fabric was synthetic & even though shroom loved his chair, he found it a bit uncomfortable to sit on with bare legs as the fabric made him sweat & itch a bit.
on the day i bought the fabric to make soft arm covers for my nursing chair (which i still haven't done yet) i also bought some nice upholstery fabric (cotton this time) to recover shroom's chair & my own which i originally recovered years & years ago & is in dire need of re-recovering (heh).
so i've done shroom's chair. it might end up being an early christmas present since we have to be a bit careful with money these days. i think it turned out quite nice. shroom prefers the purple to the red, too. 
love the colors. very regal but business like. makes me want to get back to work.
