sneaky snake - 06:01 PM
guess what i saw today. he (she? i have no idea. i wasn't going to get that close & i have no idea how to tell anyway) was hiding in the garden near the back stairs & when i went to get more pictures (don't worry, i let the camera's zoom do the close up work) he took off into the garage. i had to keep following then to make sure that it didn't end up underneath the car or inside it!
shroom said he's heard it out there, too.
i reckon it would have been about four foot long. in the garage pic, that's its body along the side of the garage wall. it had slid along the wall to get away & doubled back to keep an eye on me.

That is the largest snake I have ever seen except in a zoo. What kind of snake is it?
