first week in melbourne - 12:35 PM
just in case you're wondering about any wording i've used here which seems to be in the wrong tense (you know, past tense, present tense, etc) it's because i've backdated these entries to the approximate date they were taken.
so, this was our first week or so in melbourne, visiting with poppy (my dad) & aunty tosca (dad's wife) & his real aunty kassia (my little baby sister). it's kind of confusing, isn't it? lol! calling tosca grandma doesn't really seem quite right, so amongst all of us, we've decided the grandchildren will call her aunty tosca.
the first one is him standing near the pot plant which got a bit of a beating (but survived) while we were visiting. you can see that we're in melbourne. he's all rugged up in his tracksuit & the cute little sneakers which are kassia's to grow into, but which tosca lent him while we were there since he only had open sandals.
in the second one he's holding one of the brooms which we used regularly to keep the white tiles clean. whenever i got one out, he had to use the other one to help. it was very cute, albeit a bit frustrating when he'd 'help' me to redistribute a pile of dust & dirt which i'd just swept up. lol! 
in the next two you can see how well the two babies got along. kassia seemed to simply adore smiley. smiley enjoyed playing with kassia, but especially liked to pat her on the head. he also liked to try to sit on her when we weren't looking (one time he was behaving so nicely while tosca was looking, but then as soon as she walked away he straddled her shoulders & tried to shove her face into the carpet .. & you thought he was a nice kid, didn't you? rotfl!! he is really. he was doing it gently ..
), but i didn't get a picture of that since i didn't want to give him the impression that he was doing a good thing. hehehe.
in the last pic he was all rugged up in his sleeping bag style suit to stay warm on the cold melbourne nights & looked so cute sleeping soundly that i had to take a picture.
in the laying down together one kassia looks almost as big as smiley
and there's plenty of other words apart from grandma that tosca could have been

He's so cute in that tracksuit. Kassia is so beautiful. *gush* I'm melting over the babies now.
