visiting hellie & co - 09:54 PM
i took some pics while i was visiting my good friend, helen, the weekend before last at her parents' place an hour or so out of rockhampton.
- there were frogs everywhere. i think frogs are cool. this one was hopping around on the top of this old electric jug which is now used as a holder for kitchen utensils .. & frogs.
- an impromptu picture of smiley, including the snotty nose, if you look closely enough. heh. i don't usually let him run around with such a boogery nose, but his little nostrils were already sore from so much wiping that i was trying keep the nose-wiping to a minimum.
- smiley & i got busy doing our various things one evening & hellie took this picture. he was busy playing with one of those sound-activated dancing flowers & an old clock. i was busy planning a new necklace. note the classy just-lately-ever-present eucalyptus oil soaked rag pinned as near to my nose as possible.
- smiley really liked the cats. there are two of them that live there & he kept wandering out to the front verandah looking for them & saying, "meow". this is one of them he was hassling. i actually let the other one give him a very gentle claw warning so he might get the idea in the safest possible way that pulling on a cat's hair & skin & face is not a good idea.
- helen & her two nieces, georgia & abbey. they're lovely little girls. both five years old. they're sisters & twins. this is a lovely picture of them all. 
- hellie's mum took this picture of hellie, smiley & i just before smiley & i were about to leave for home. you can see past the fence (off which the two girls are hanging) how dry it is out there on the land. that's where the cows were being loaded on a truck the day before.
