things which make me wonder
i wonder why, when i see one hairdresser do another hairdresser's hair, i feel as though i'm observing something slightly incestuous?
maybe it's because touching someone else's hair is such a personal thing & hairdressers just shouldn't do that sort of thing to each other.

Personal .. maybe. But if you think about it, it's a pretty unique situation. A mechanic can fix his own car (etc), but a hairdresser has to find someone else to do his/her job.
So you have someone in the chair who knows all about the job and someone who knows the other knows
